Summer is here, school is out, and vacation time is upon us! But, at United Way of Northwest Georgia, our work is just getting started. Our dedicated volunteers are already in full swing, gearing up for this year's campaign.
United Way of Northwest Georgia’s Youth and Volunteer Celebration was held on Thursday, April 25, at Mack Gaston Community Center. It was a night to remember!
As we celebrate Mother's Day, we honor and thank all the women who have helped us become who we are. They may be our moms, aunts, grandmothers, teachers, community leaders, or church members. As I look around, I see many women who are inspiring change.
Many of us are living in constant pursuit of our passion or purpose. Finding passion and purpose is often best discovered in service to others. United Way brings together people with the passion and resources to improve lives in our community. Through our volunteer opportunities, we encourage everyone to connect where they are most passionate.

It is hard to believe we are already in March, but the signs of spring are evident. At United Way of Northwest Georgia, we are celebrating our community’s 2023 achievements. We are excited about what plans we have in place for 2024 under the leadership of Board Chair, Julian Dossche.

Kevin Wright took on the challenge in 2023 to be the United Way Campaign Chair. Although it’s no easy task serving as the Campaign Chair, Kevin believes strongly in the value of United Way – uniting people and resources to create lasting change in our community.
