Our Young Leaders Society Mentors United Kickoff was a huge success!
United Way of Northwest Georgia's Young Leaders Society has established a mentoring partnership with United Way Community Partner, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Northwest Georgia Mountains.
For the past nineteen years, United Way of Northwest Georgia has celebrated Make a Difference Day on the fourth Friday and Saturday in October. This year was no exception, with $10,000 in grant funding provided by Brown Industries and Phenix Flooring, and a total of nine projects.
Bob Hardaway, United Way of Northwest Georgia Campaign Chairman, announced the 2019-2020 Campaign Goal of $4.125 Million for Whitfield & Murray County at the Kickoff Block Party and CEO Trike Race on September 17th at Burr Park.
Dalton Utilities held their 2nd Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, September 9, 2019 at the Dalton Golf & Country Club.
The proceeds from the tournament go to United Way of Northwest Georgia as part of the Dalton Utilities United Way Campaign.
It’s hard to believe that we are already gearing up for the 2019 United Way campaign! It seems like time goes by faster each year. Looking back, we have had some pretty amazing things happen over the last year.

School is out, vacation time is upon us, but here at United Way our volunteers are working hard behind the scenes and prepping for this year’s campaign which will kick off on September 17, 2019 with our Annual CEO Trike Race and Block Party at Burr Park.
