Elderly Yard Clean-ups
Volunteers Needed: For Elderly Yard Clean-ups/ and Graffiti Removal
Teams from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Once you arrive at the Recreation Department, go to the lobby and
sign-in. You will be placed on a team, and given a map to a home that is
in the local area that needs your help. You will be responsible for
driving to the home site. A United Way Volunteer Coordinator will be
with your team at the site. You should dress warmly and bring work
gloves. Some tools will be provided, but if you can bring your own rake
or hedge trimmers, that would be helpful.

Kids Craft Extravaganza
Volunteers needed: Help with Kids Craft Extravaganza in the gym at the
recreation department. Sign-in in the lobby. Craft supplies will be
provided, please arrive between 9 and 9:30 to help set-up in the gym.
Children ages 12 and under are invited to attend and complete FREE
crafts from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00. Register at ourunitedway.org to
volunteer.
Winter Blast Workshop
Participants needed: First Things First, a non-profit agency is
providing a FREE WINTER BLAST WORKSHOP for teens ages 13+. Topics
include: dealing with family members, conflict resolution, healthy
dating, know who you are, and goal setting. FREE prizes. Workshop is
from 9:00 a.m. til 5:00 p.m. Reserve your spot today--Call 423.267.5383.
